Lukter kaffe, og lett brent sjokoladekake med mørk lønnesirup. Noenlunde ditto med smaken. Ikke altfor søt. Ikke noe særlig tydelig fatpreg.

Митя попросил десерт для окончания дегустационной сессии - их есть у меня. Но десерт оказался горьким шоколадом в кофе, кленовый сироп ушёл, но древесные оттенки остались. И вот теперь думай, передержали ли ты его или так было задумано.

Sat in the fridge for a year and this is literally fudge in barrel aged liquid form. Smell a little of the maple and there’s some bitterness from the coffee over time but the sweet strong chocolate flavor offsets that. Cold night. Fire going. 4.15

Arom av choklad och kola med en hint av bourbon fatlagringen. Mycket choklad även i smaken. Får samtidigt lite kaffe och rostad malt. Lätt torr finish med lite bourbonfat. Ok kropp och fyllighet.

Green coffee and bell pepper in the nose, much better on the palate: dark chocolate, espresso, slight maple syrup, subtle bourbon trail. Quite drinkable, despite the layers of taste and the (totally hidden) ABV. Thumbs up.

The nose from the barrel is stronger than that from the maple. The flavor of the barrel and maple is stronger than the fudge. The fudge is in the finish, or maybe I drank the whole bottle before writing this and just like the alliteration. 🤔🙄😏

Heerlijk aroma van chocolade, in de smaak komt choco, koffie, de maple siroop valt meer op de achtergrond, maar toch is dit een heerlijke stout!

Nez bien choco en poudre, café et bourbon. En bouche c’est full choco/fudge, puis légère amertume malt calciné. Le bourbon est très/trop discret. C’est assez « sec » et « aqueux » vu la recette. Boozy également. Cool mais vite écoeurant (choco à fond).

Bottled 14 months ago. Smooth. Rich. Chocolate (fudgy). With barrel accents and finish. The nose is pure fudge. Black as night. Liquid bourbon fudge. Very rich. Coffee is buried in there but you can find it.

Flavours of fudge coffee and chocolates, thick and raw without any vanilla to smoother it. Barrel notes are faint, if any. When cold, feels a little watery, but body thickens and smoothens when warmed.

Second ‘Fudge’ of the evening, this time it’s a bourbon oak barrel aged stout with Mackinac Fudge coffee, Maple syrup and chocolate. Taste explosion; strong coffee roast, nice boozynes, subtle sweetness and a bitter pure chocolate aftertaste.

Doft av kaffe och lönnsirap, samt bourbon från fatlagringen. Fyllig och rostad munkänsla. Smak av kaffe och choklad. Något rostad eftersmak med inslag av fatlagring.

👍🏻 Very heavy on the chocolate flavours, more so than I remember. Very much like a lava cake, very thick. 👎🏻Pretty heavy on the stomach. Took me a while to finish my glass.
