This stupid bottle of beer moved across the country with me 9 years ago. Now I am forced to drink it. OG score forever, but the quality has certainly…errrr, declined.

Can smell mellowed oak and boozy caramel. Very smooth. Toffee and molasses up front, a boozy bourbon kick in the finish that has a hint of charred wood. Even after 10 years the booze still builds just a bit too much. Not many better ways to spend $1.99.

Soft velvety mouthfeel, molasses, little bit of smoke, raisin, smooth bourbon oakiness. Lost a touch of carbonation in 6yrs but held up quite well otherwise

6 year old wee heavy! Lots of bourbon and full of floaters. Still quite good.

Tasty but nearing the end of its time. Delicious biscuity oaky fig, caramel, vanilla. Really smooth, but getting some oxidation on the finish

Starts out like straight scotch from the liquor store. Strong and boozy. As it reached room temp the caramel and toffee flavors come out. Did not fade at all. It probably could go another couple years.

After 7 years I thought it might have started to go bad. Not this one. Still mighty good.

This is a remarkably smooth and well-crafted beer, and it remains my favorite Wee Heavy that I have ever tried. After aging for eight years, it's even smoother. Booze, malt, & toffee, plus slightly smoky, spicy, and oaky, with a single-malt scotch taste.

The crazy stuff you find at HopCat! The years have mellowed the surly nature of this brew into something far more pleasant. Toffee and charred oak with hints of bourbon. Flavors are heavy dark fruit and caramel, scotch warmth and a syrupy full body. Wow.

Found this gem in my cellar tonight. Might need to drink up any remaining .

This ale has aged extremely well! Very smooth with a consistent vanilla flavor and a hint of nutty tones! A great find in my cellar.

"You know that you have been stabbed when you feel the deep pain of betrayal.” There are friends, and there are enemies, but one must be vigilant of frienemies. One of my favorite brews. Father time has touched this, phenomenal regardless
