Toasting a #billsmafia return to the playoffs with a cellar selection and wedding gift from Mike S. Thanks, buddy. This was your best idea possibly ever.

Interesting how this turns into a barleywine/hops elixir. Holding up p well but I’d say the prime was at about 4 years of aging.

Drank like a...10 year aged ipa lol. No, it had that dark fruit malt with low carbonation. Borderline cask vibes but wasn’t as sweet as anticipated

18% Horsepower. Bottled in 2012, this is phenomenal. Taste like a barleywine mixed with a Belgian quad. I love it. Happy New Year to you all!! I hope you all are drinking great beers tonight, but please, don't drink and drive!!! Cheers!!!

Curious to what the abv on this is now. More like a quad or barleywine. Thanks Chad!

Broke out this one that Connor’s had aging since 2012. Ages into a robust, smooth barley wine. Dangerously smooth, even.

It’s wild how this behaves more like a barleywine than ipa. It’s held up and is nice 11 years on

Some sediment at the bottom of the glass. Taste has likely shifted, but it’s great to drink.

Aging this 12 years only made it better. Just a bit of carbonation letting me know it was stored properly. Well worth the wait

Malty and sweet. Hop profile has diminished, 8 years in a basement will do that.

Does age well. Maybe best at about the 5 year mark IMO? But this has a great sherry flavor, caramel, little toffee, good warmth at the back end. Not harsh at all. Little thin, definitely mellowed. Worth a taste for sure

This was the very first bottle that started my beer collection. Drank last night with close friends upon finally finishing the Beeradvocate Top 250 after 10 years of trying. Expected nothing, but damn, it was pretty fookin’ good!

Surprised to still taste some earthy, citrusy, resinous hops in here. Malty toasty biscuity leather caramel joins in too. Its a solid American barleywine

Wow. Nearly 10 years old and delicious. Rich toffee. A depth that's hard to pick out. Earthy, and a kick of alcohol

Almost like a barelywine, but more floral. Aging for over 10 years did wonders for this. Shared by a stranger at Gordon Street Tavern.

Cellared for 10.5yrs. Minimal carbonation, but who needs it with this beer. Smooth, no bitterness. Tasted like a light barleywine.
