Still potent, but mellowed. Ton of barrel. Remember picking these up. Last one during cellar clear out.

Bottled 11/14. Booziness has definitely faded with time. Not really hot at all. Thanks John!

The nose is just as rich and boozy as the day it was brewed. Still nicely carbonated, not as sweet or as complex as previous bottles I have had. Still a great celebratory beer!

In 07 & 14 they said it was brewed every 7 years. So I saved one for comparison, only to see they started making it ever year since 2017.....

Seven years of aging, the label long gone, this has acquired a bit of a barleywine character more so than a Belgian, as the candi sugar nature is gone…but it still does not come across as ~18%. Sipper.

Increased from 3.5 to a 4.0. Either the years sitting have improved its flavor profile, or I just now appreciate this beer so much more many years later.

LCI. Had high hopes this one would age well. A little let down with a thinner body, but still rewarded with some nice flavor notes of raisin, prune, light cardamom, and light chocolate. Mixed feelings... probably should've opened 3 years ago. 3.9

Aged for nine years. Probably should have had it a bit sooner. Great taste upfront, but a little off in the after taste.

Another Brews Bros lost in the basement for 10 years. I was a little concerned with this one, but it’s pretty good.

Way better as it warmed. Chilled it had a sharp alcohol burn and still kinda medicinal taste. Flavors of dark raisin and sweetness arise after it warmed. Forms into a barley wine meets quad vibe.

Bottled 21 Nov 2014. Smell is caramel and raisins. Taste is the same. Jaysus this held up fantastically.

Still holding up great. No oxidation, malty and sweet. Very few beers can be this solid after six years. Bottled 11/21/14.

Interesting change, been 2-3y at least since I had this vintage - has gotten lighter in body and tasted more like a liquer now. Slightly syrupy with raisin and brown sugar notes still evident. 4.4.

Found this dusty bottle at a sh*thole in Plymouth. Drinking very nicely!

Last day of my old job ✅ Felt right to break out the oldest beer and glass I have. Smoother than black tuesday IMO. Drinks dam well for 2014

Aged to a T in the past nine years. There is ample raisin and brown sugar in this excellent bread-pudding dessert of a beer.

Nutty and perfectly boozed. Loud and boldly attention seeking. Raisin is grapey and lingering - the vintage is soft, beautifully poised like a port, smooth and supple and smoky like an old whiskey. This is a real treat Joshua. Merry Christmas fam! 🎄🎅🏼

Bottled 22 Nov 2014. Sweet molasses and raisins along with other dark fruit flavours. Thin and not too boozy.

11/12/14 rich Belgian like, easy for alcohol, fig/raisin sweet

A bit delicious, not really getting the “raisins” or “brown sugar” that others state… I guess I’m nose dead 🤣

No time like the pandemic! Still boozy after 6 years. Definitely more kick than the more recent releases. 🍻
