Iets langer dan een jaar laten rijpen, nog een vrij ‘groene’ houtsmaak en wat tannines in de afdronk. A&G-achtige neus. Nog goed wat ruimte voor veroudering. Nog steeds erg fijn.

Another year and the flavors have evolved again. Nose is sweet funk of orange blossom, hay, horse blanket, must, some clay. Body is thicker and more dense flavors now, compared to the past two tastings. Dry and mineral. Sour green apple. Little pear. ⬇️

Funky, bittery, lemon in the background. Very soft. Bit sparkling citrus. Smooth, funky, bitterish aftertaste with woody notes. I even get a bit of walnuts. Terrific blend of old and new.

Classic Geuze profile, a bit more woody. Nice acidity, smooth sipper but was expecting more complexity / blue cheese to come through .
