Meilleur vintage de Lou Pepe Kriek que j'ai bu. Tarte à la cerise, cannelle, épices. Le nez de cette bière est peut-être la plus belle chose que j'ai senti. Crissez moi ça dans les veines

Ma grand-mère vient de sortir sa tarte aux cerises du four. Nez d'épices (cannelle, muscade, cardamome) fucking belle cerise. Quand on pense perfection bière aux cerises c'est à ça qu'on fait référence. Acidité assez élevée, mais le nez est insane.

The cellared kriek brings forth a wonderful vanilla bisquit-y flavor over the lovely integrated kriek, smooth and pleasant. Not too sour. Amazing

Something special for my sporty forty. Favorite beer in the world and one of two bottles I’ve ever owned. Still perfect, no signs of oxidation, jammy cherries and lambic funk perfection.

Candied cherries. Bright, funky, not too much oak but wow this drinks so nice for an 11 year old beer that’s been in the bottle for 9 years.

Tasty! Just no chance against Oure Kriek, objectively however a great beer! The fact that we all forgot about it says a lot.

Another thanks to Mats J. for this. A great example of what aging this beer can do! Some acetone which went away after the bottle was open 30min. Great balance of funk & fruit at this moment. Food: confit quail legs, fondant potatoes, berry wine reduction

Cherry Jolly rancher. Temp controlled stored vertical. Bright and young cherry flavors. Less oak and funk than other vintages have expressed. Very different, very delicious.

Side by side with 2005. More fruit but also clearly less than the 2013 we had earlier today. Still drinks wonderfully.
