No pop, but super integrated carb. Loved the creamy mouthfeel of this geuze, there's an inherent sharp Meyer lemon acidity which is a little high for personal preference. I prefer the funk of the 14! Always thanks million for those bringing old geuze ttt

#CheckInMoreThanOnce | Upgrade (+0.20). Surprisingly, with the older of the two (2011 vs. 2014) I had those classic notes of citrus, wood and apple more present and less funk. Carbonation almost gone. Thanks ttt

Too much acidity for my taste. Feels like it is quite closed off even with the extra time in the glass. A little over what I prefer. Thanks nonetheless ttt

Funk, musk, soft cheese. Light acidity, soft toffee and caramel, muted sweetness with a lingering acidity. Soft horse and Funk into the finish. Cheesy.

Juste équilibre entre la 2017 qui manque de longueur en bouche à mes yeux et la 2004 un poil trop acide. Reste cependant un poil moins complexe qu'une 2015.

Preferred the 8/31/11 bottle over this December 2011 bottle. Wet oak, bright citrus, cedar, slightly oxidized funk, and Brussels basement. Nose is a touch off for us, but good for the gut flora.

8/31/11 bottle. Nose is so dusty and complex with some leather, wet oak, and house funk. Flavor is still impressively bright at over 10 years old. Grapefruit, barn, cedar closet, lemon, and flinty minerals. 4.6
