Not my usual style, but not bad either. I wouldn't buy it for myself, but I don't mind drinking it. Graded entirely subjectively.

Ferdinand Wolf von und zu Wolfsthal
Excellent, full-bodied flavor. Great sour beer overall. No major flaws.

Was something wrong with the bottle? It was completely flat. Like, poured as if it were a glass of white wine type of flat. And just nowhere near their Classic Gueze or other good examples of the style.

It’s not often you see this on the beer menu in a restauarant. Couldn’t resist trying it. Sharp, Sherry, bitter, almost a pickled onion body, then mellows out with a salty grassy finish. Lives up to the hype.

25cl, tap. A favorite of mine, easy choice with a pickled egg.

On ressent un côté barriqué, foin mais surtout aigre et fruité.

Another one of them “out of date” beers, almost 5 years old. Very funky, lots of oak, lemon, hay, vinegar. Sour, sharp and dry. Lively carbonation.

Beau nez funky, ça sent bien la ferme et les produits naturels, bio, ruraux... Gueuze de très haute volée.
