Jaw dropping. Sooo funky. Little sweetness from the brandy but it’s mostly the signature Cantillon gym sock profile that I love

Soirée 100% Cantillon 2/11. Roche, gout mielleux, boozy cognac, petit arrière goût de roquette amer qui picotte la langue. Wow.

A host of different flavours, the initial sourness gives way to a saltiness that ends with a hint of toffee right at the finish. A beer to be savoured and enjoyed.

Belgium-Pt. 2: This might have been my favorite out of many favorites at Cantillon. The cognac barrel really lends some nice complexities to the lambic. Excellent.

Awesome nose. You can taste subtle cognac. My only complaint is that this is not really a daily drinker. Too rich 😜

Finally a good reason to crack this beauty (just a Monday night dinner with way out of town friends before they leave again). Moldy, earthy, wooden funk, just the way you expect this to be. Just a perfect beer in almost every way.
