Wood first, then juicy citrus, then a long finish. Light carb, but doesn’t taste flat. Nice brandy taste throughout.

Nice sweet and boozy barrel presence, lots of leathery funk. Pretty flat though. 50% more carb would make this. Paired with mole salami from Anton W.

New Cantillon favorite that I will never get to try ever again. Low carbonation, thick/syrupy body. Fruity and boozy hints from the brandy. Sublime.

A belated Thanksgiving dinner! This goes so well with the mushroom broth and bread with smoked salt. The brandy gives it a nice depth. Good start!

Had this at David Kim’s back in the day. The brandy did not have a good effect.

Not a ton of brandy, but just the right amount of funk with a slightly tart finish. Also picking up some floral notes. Absolutely delicious. Thanks for sharing David C.

Not sure that the brandy barrel character really leaps off the palate here, but it still has the classic Belgian farmhouse nose in full effect, with a hugely funky but dry palate, and a smooth, mildly tart finish. Simply delicious!
