Sang Bleu (Camerise)

Lambic - Fruit

Previously called "Camerise Lambic" Lambic blend with blue honeysuckle, or haskap, berries.  For the past two years, we’ve been making a fruited blend with Camerise berries in small quantities. These berries are slightly sweet with a beautiful acidity.  We didn’t have to look very far for a its new name... a blue fruit that makes a blood-red beer: Sang Bleu. Our friend Ammo has outdone himself once again, creating a superb new label to go with its new name. A word from the brewer: Sang Bleu is powerful and very fruit-forward, but still maintains a nice, mellow balance between acidity and astringency.

Stoked to find this back home! Missing Belgium already. Bright, effervescent, raspberry, mild cherry, bit of grape notes. Really easy drinking. Not very tart compared to other Cantillons

Far left. Lively carbonation sparks the berry notes, which deliver waves of flavor. Super. Fucking. Fun. Great to be here sharing beers with friends.

Berries. Fruity and gently tarty, slightly sour. Smooth. Some floral tones. Dry finish. Fruity aftertaste. The new Camerise’s name, it seems. (Still Biased)

Disagreeing with my previous check in on this. It is f’ing phenomenal! Made with haskap (blue honeysuckle). Powerfully fruit forward, tannic and oak notes to a pleasant level, slightly jammy but finishes dry

Добрае піва, напэўна і крутое вельмі. Але я стаміўся ад такіх кіслых. Але ўсё роўна гэта 5 бо трэба каб добрыя бровары былі ў топе, а не кацапа-беларускае і кацапскае гаўно.
