FLN - and a wonderful ending to last night's festivities. Good funk development within a short period of time, and really enjoyed the fruitiness - orange and peach being the main standout flavors. Great oak on the back. Terrifically tart as well. 4.55

Ik weet niet of het jaartje extra of de rare witte kolonies in het gistsediment is maar wat een fantastische smaak. Licht zuur, beetje tannines, houtsmaak dat er mooi doorkomt en beginnende complexiteit. Het enige jammere is dat het mijn laatste was

Phenomenal. Fantastic grape must and funk throughout. Light mineral and just sexy. This is excellent.

Dark fruit aromas, leafy and peppery as well. Tart cherry notes on the palate, a slight carbonic bit on the entrance followed by those leafy and earthy notes. Dried berries and a funk cidery side as well.

Very young. I was already convinced that bottles of St. Lam should rest for at least four years before being opened, and this one is no different. Still very good, already a bit funky, but not approaching perfection like the best cellared bottles do.
