Very clear Cantillon funk. Full-on flint and horse. Bitter, too, in that gentian woody way. Pleasant, great with quiche.

2016/17 on left (2017/18 on right). 2017 is drier, oakier compared to the 2018's fruitier notes. Both with the characteristic vinegar. Consistent enough I prob. wouldn't note a difference if having either one alone.

Bottled June 16 2017. Oh, what a nice kick of barnyard and farmhouse notes with lemon sorbet. Metamorphosis closer to St Gilloise.

This is just as I remember it to be when I was at the brewery. Goes very well with Mexican food.

Apple juice color and body. Light vinegar, sugar, apricots on the nose. Acid, sour lemons, orange pith; quite puckering. 4.3/5

Geur. Funky . Smaak. Groene appeltjes citroen hout toetsen en mooi droge afdronk.

Catching up on checkins... this was so nice. So happy to be sitting on another 3 or 4 bottles. Delighted that I got to share one with friends

First Christmas in 30 years I’m not with my family. At least I have lambic.

Started off surprisingly bitter but mellowed over time. Lovely dry barnyard funk with acidic green apple
