Very low carbonation at this point, great balance, funky but with a sweet white wine side

Na start męcząco alkoholowe, po odstaniu na szczęście mniej. Imo ostra tanina, może delikatne motywy destylatowe i takie mokre drewniane, jakieś też serowe pleśniowe. Takie o, ciekawe, ale nie będę o nim śnił i wspominał latami

Cantillon #50. 🥳 Lambic brewed 2016, then four years in cognac barrels. 😳 Fine carbonation, slightly acetic, bitter finish. Cognac pairs really well with the lambic. Pretty fantastic stuff.

Cognac barrel-aged geuze might be one of the best geuzes so far. Such a smooth and silk mouthfeel, where cognac proudly shows itself without overpowering the vanilla, earthy and funky notes. Fantastic!

A big improvement from the last (brandy) batch. A nice sweetness/rounding of the classic Cantillon lambic profile. Could be amazing in a few years.

Fijn zuur, maar toch ook soepel drinkbaar en mooi in balans. Cognac vat komt ook mooi door.

Delicious funk, grape, lemon, oak, lightly floral, apple cider. Excellent balance.

Zo smooth. Zo zacht. Zo subtiel in het zuur. Zo fruitig maar vooral aards. Droog, klaver, berken, lentebloesem. Fleetwood Mac op de achtergrond. Mooier kan het niet worden.

Here it is again, the classic 50n in cognac. Another pretty good batch I must say, citrusy and full of cognac notes, barrel, dry, great one.

Appel, peer, druif, citroen, karamel, honing, tarwe, brett, oude kaas, bloesem, hooi, paddenstoel, eik, vanille. Bitter(+), zoet(++), zuur(++).
