Stored on its side, this beer was very much alive on the far side of the cork! Dried apricot, Cureghem must.

I really enjoyed this. The maltiness added a certain earthiness/heftiness, and alight sweetness in the back. Had the bone dry funkiness signature to Cantillon.

Had this 3 years ago onsite. So much oak in this now and if you close your eyes the smell takes you downstairs at the brewery. Can’t wait to revisit again in a few more years

Big oak on this one. The spice factor almost gives me a rye connotation. The hopping (after all the cellaring) gives it a rye IPA-like character.

26 December 2016 bottling aka the magical batch. Dusty newspapers, full and robust, crazy low acidity. Peach tea. Just as good as the last time I had it

Sweet and funky tart, and hint of oak barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a fruity yeasty and oak-barrel finish. Good stuff!

4.50 Dec 26, 2016 Bottle: Amazing beer. Perfect level of funk, tartness and sweetness. More barnyardy on the nose than in the taste.

Old Iris = Great Iris. Funk has almost completely taken over. A tiny bit vinegary in the nose but very little tartness.
