What an incredible setting for an incredible tasting! Right on/by Grand Place. Excellent lambic & wine throughout. La Vie Est Belge 2020 - a new blend - is a little underwhelming relative to other blends. The Vin Jaune pairing outclassed it handily.

Hazy golden without foam. Sweet, aromatic, tart, slightly grainy and lemony some. Flat mouthfeel with a nice balanced sourness. Taste aromatic, earthy, tart, dusty, lemony and intriguing. Quite dry in finish and with some autumnal vibes in some way. Gr8t.

Smells like Haribo Goldbären, sharp and sour, orange rind, not much of the usual Cantillon funk. Does not open up well, rhubarb-ish.

Well. Well...pretty difficult one. Starts off full of curry (yes, curry) and some alcohol, becomes a coffee beans beer in a few minutes..then it's alcohol with the full flavor of the vin jaune..it's of course complex, great thing. But way too messy. 3.85

Kegged 2020 at least. Raspy, multi depth. Would probably like better after a few years more.
