Rare real time tick! This vintage goes heavy into the vinyl / Vaseline / weird funk that is a Cantillon hallmark. Better as it warms

Wow, this is hitting its stride. Funk, lemonade, grape skins, apple, leather, no acidity. Bottled September 10, 2014.

Time nurtured this bottle. Holy hell. Insane nose and creamy carb/body. The nose was my favorite part. Intense lemon juice poured on a hay barrel surrounded by dilapidated barn walls. Fuck yes.

Classic cantillon nose. Lovely funk, citrusy in a young way, even some smoke?!. I like, but needs more time

Aged loon geuze is always fantastic. Light carbonation and a slick, almost oily mouthfeel.

Malt Does More

Pours with soft white head that faded to lacing quickly. Soft funk with stone fruits on the nose. Palate follows, with a modest, fruity sourness and a surprisingly quick slightly woody finish when cold, longer as it warms.

funk, slightly sweet and tart, with rounded fruitiness. oak woodiness accentuates the ending, longer note as it warms. prefer it slightly cold to keep the acidity and bite.
