Drinks like a gueuze but with a touch of barrel. Super funky nose. Incredible beer.

Rose De Gambrinus (2023)

Strong fruit aroma backed by an amazing funky fruity finish. Agree with russ, bottle is better than draft.

Drogone Lambic 2023

Sweet grape nose that carries to each sip. Not as complex or funky as others we have tried.

Gueuze (2023)

Bright fruity funky nose. Fruit forward to start each sip followed by funk. I could drink gallons of this beer.

Barbera (2022)

Strong grape nose. All red wine/grapes in each sip. Mild funk. Low acidity. Excellent!

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2017)

Super funky nose that carries forward in each sip. You could smell the funk the second the bottle was opened. Incredible.

Nath (2022)

Sweet funky nose. Slight rhubarb but all funk in the body. Crazy good.

Racine (2023)

White wine forward but strong sweetness on the nose similar to pear. Carries forward to each sip. Very unique.

Piacere (2022)

Very nice mix of red wine and sweetness on the nose. Carries forward to each sip. Never would think cherries without reading the description but definitely sweeter than a typical red grape lambic.

Magic Lambic (2024)

Nice mix of fruit on the nose. Great mix of everything on each sip with lingering vanilla. After having so many styles in the past few days, this one is truly unique. Can't say the vanilla adds anything for me though.

Nuit Bruxelloise (2019)

Extremely grape forward nose. Grape juice funk on each sip. Has aged so well. Excellent.

Fou’ Foune (2023)

Subtle apricot on the nose. Thicker apricot funk in each sip. Great mouthfeel. Delish!

Lou Pepe Kriek (2020)

I think this might be the beer of the trip so far. Cherries are so pungent. Cinnamon cherries on each sip. Mouth watering. Insanely good.

Mamouche (2023)

Stunning. Aroma pops. Flavor is out of control. So much floral character. Super juicy. Everything pops.

Lambic Haute Densité (2019)

This beer was truly something. Fair amount of whisky notes mixed with funk? Odd, yes it was. Hard transition at first but solid as I kept drinking. Can't say I'll have this again. Thanks for the great conversation and good times! Damian Michi

Another grape heavy blend. Excellent as they all have been.

Le Plaisir (2023)

Really enjoyed this one. White wine mixed with that classic funk finish. Incredibly refreshing.

Chenin Blanc (2022)

Red grapes were definitely front and center. Slight funk and also very good.

Zwanze 2024 - MMXXIV

The background on this vintage is a wild story. Get a lot of sea flavors in the aroma but the flavor is mostly subtle. Nice to taste this beer to its full potential vs what we had at Zwanze Day.

Mamouche (2022)

Outstanding. Didn't know this was a blend of 2022 Zwanze. Didn't get any pepper but strong floral notes that really carried through each sip. Incredibly full mouthfeel.

Floral nose, super funky taste. Carb isn't great.
