Forest fruit, red wine, cassis, blueberries, vanilla, oak, damp cellar, bookstore, farmyard, green apples, earthy storage room stale musty odor. Subtle tartness. I consider myself privilaged indeed to be tasting nectar like this, beautiful! 😍😍😍

La finale est tellement longue! Complexe, équilibrée comme seul cantillon sait le faire! J’me suis fait dire que les st lam n’étaient pas constantes, selon les batchs… si c’est le cas, j’ai été chanceux, elle est sublime!

It's so good. Less tart and more fruit forward, with a nice amount of wine-like character from the Merlot grapes.

Mother of God. My first taste of a Cantillon lambic and I'm absolutely floored. Funky, musty, and just like a red wine. Happy to share this bottle with a great friend.

On passe de 100% merlot à une combinaison de merlot, grenache noir et syrah pour cette édition. Il faudrait déguster deux années côte à côte pour voir les nuances, mais c’est tout aussi plaisant!

EIGHT THOUSAND BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS! YEAH! But enough of that. As is now tradition, everytime I reach a new 1000th beer, I have to have something special. And well, you just can't go wrong with Cantilion. A fruity & dry affair.The Cantilion way.

Bit of an emotional beer for me, bucket list beer for a big occasion! Deep red wine skins and funky earthy lambic, well balanced complex vinous acidity and boatloads of dusty wine cellar funk for a fresh beer, absolutely awesome and well worth the wait!
