April 11 2016 bottle. This date’s been a favorite for a few years now and at 5 and a half years it doesn’t disappoint! Gorgeous framboise, juicy nose w a touch of seed, bit of sweetness remains on palate along with minerals n funk, creamy mouth, A+!!!

Cantillon poussiéreuse. Le fruit est intégré parfaitement. J'ai rarement eu une émotion en buvant une bière...Je suis aux anges.

Effervescent and complex, nice the way the fruit eases in.

LCI | Wauw, wat een mooi zuur bier is dit. Fris en fruit in de neus, zuur en framboos in de mond. Geweldig!

How was it? It was good. Very good.

Can't get over the fact the nose is jam and sake. Taste is nothing like that: raspberry, lactobacillus (but not unwelcome) and a bit of honey

37.5, 2016 vs 2017: Still fruity but not as much as 2017, darker notes, very light caramel, malt. Hazier and less rose than 2017. Some cellar notes, leather, spices. Lemony sourness. Perfume notes developing after a while. This one is glorious.

BFLN Raspberry rockin with a nice oaky spin on the dial of funk. All together now sweet and tart fun .

[Late Check In] Bottle opened up and all you could smell was fresh raspberry jam and old musty leather, so I was in heaven. The bottle was a bit more acidic than I expected given the age. The berries were jammy as could, playing well against the funk.

April 2016 bottle. Large head that fizzed out quickly. Nose is stunning: faded berry compote, funk, fuzzy raspberry skin. Taste bends more toward funky, but the fruit is still strong and jammy. Mouthwatering without being really tart, just delicious.

Red color faded a bit. Big fluffy head. Musty/dusty raspberries and some medium barnyard funk. Mouthfeel is on the fuller side for Cantillon. Acidity restrained. These 2016 RdG bottles are awesome.
