Boom! Was looking forward to this and I am not disappointed. Dark chocolate, vanilla and bourbon on the nose. Palate is vanilla, liquorice, dark chocolate, sweet bourbon, burnt malts. A little bitter in the finish but this is less noticeable as it warms.

Chocolate cake aromatic details. Elegant liqueur notes from the bourbon ageing. Bursts of sharp carbonation. Sweet mellow taste at the start, winding down with an emphatic bitter finish. Medium bodied.

First post-covid check-in. I haven't been able to taste/smell for a while, but I'm starting to notice more nuances now. Not confident with my rating, it would be fun to try this beer again a few months from now to see if I notice anything different ^_^

It's a hefty KBS. Masterful barreling, had to take a second look at the adjuncts. Chocolate, mocha, big coconut, caramel, biscuit, vanilla, drinks far below it's 14%, really super stuff.

Nose is heavy bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate with some orange, coffee. Taste has the perfect amount of bourbon, choco syrup, espresso. Amazing mouthfeel and boozyness. I think the mouthfeel seperates this from most BA stouts. super
