It was a little malty but at the same time very well balanced. It aged quite well. Thx Paul, Thx Scott.

From Memory: Still one of the best Imperial IPA's I have had to date only because of the Bourbon barrels used. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, vanilla & Oak. Taste reflects the aroma, slight caramel & subtle pine to round things out. Not good after a year.

I’d say 4.15. Better after a few years in the cellar

17-5-3 vtg, ~3yr,5mo/o. Continuing to be in that well aged sweet spot. Complex and delicious.

Found this one hiding in the basement. 3.5 yrs old and smooth as butter.

Can't remember where i found this. After 3yrs in the cellar is mellowed. Very well conditioned and balanced. Oak notes complement the hop bitterness. Alcohol warmth, but not boozy. Bourbon on the back. Very, very nice.

Aged well. I didn't expect the hoppiness after a four year cellaring. But it held up nicely.

Bottles 4 years ago. Reminds me a lot of 120 from dogfish. Aged nicely.

Straight up American barleywine at this point. Barrel is fading fast.

A hoppy IPA aged in bourbon barrels??? Sounds crazy, but count me in! This cellared so well. Smoooth. Drinks like a subtly hoppy barleywine. Oh, yeah …

Nearly 4yo and going strong. Pretty much the same as previous checkins. DavidL: Not as sweet as the 90 min, but I think you'd like it.

5 years of aging has smoothed this one out. When I first had it, it was too hot. Now you can taste the underlying IPA much better.

Denne gjemmer ikke alkoholprosenten. Tror jeg trenger et glass vann :p

IPA aged in bourbon barrels. So freakin good. Definitely tastes more like a barley wine. Getting ready to see Tom Segura tonight. Can’t. Fucking. Wait!!!

Not bad for an IPA from 2017! Basically barleywine now, so pretty much boozy and not hoppy.

Aroma de barril. No paladar mais barril, resinoso e leve cítrico. Dulcor nulo e amargor médio equilibrados. Baita breja.

Barrel is back. Lots of orange and subtle vanilla. Still reminds me of Bigfoot

Last one. Everything has smooooothed out. No piney/bitter hops, no booze, little barrel. Still really damn good.

#ølnr750
