2018 after three years was pretty breathtaking. This is also great but I can't help but feel five years is a bit too long.

Aroma has burnt sugar and malts, a hint of spices. A thick smooth body. Tastes full, chocolatey, slightly coffeeish. Probably much more subtle and round than when fully fresh, but I like that comfortable aged quality this carries. 4.40.

Just enough maple syrup to make you want this for breakfast. Held up well in the cellar!

Roasted coffee with a hint of maple on the nose. Medium mouth feel. Nice dark roast coffee upfront with a maple syrup finish. Hard to beat a classic.

Was a cloyingly sweet mess of a batch when released but pleasantly surprised at how its mellowed. Burnt turbinado sugar notes replacing maple.

Out of the cellar, into my belly. Aged great, chocolate notes, deep dark tannins giving tobacco flavor. Hate to see it go, but worth the cellaring.

5 long years - most of the flavors have faded but still a fair amount of coffee. Overall not very pleasant

Amazing Canadian barrel aged imperial stout with chocolate and coffee. Great bourbon flavor without excessive sweetness! Grand slam!! Smooth. Thanks Bud!!

A sweet bourbon aroma followed by a rich robust chocolate and coffee flavor. Extremely smooth The aging mellowed the sweetness. Outstanding! Thank you Bud!

A nice find here at Ned Kelly’s and only$5. 11.7 % ABV. Sweet from the imported chocolate and syrup along with coffee flavors. Strong Bourbon taste from the barrels that most recently were aging pure Michigan maple syrup.?

Heat has fallen off almost completely, does leave faint maple and chocolate to be enjoyed. One of my faves but also one of the worst lawn mowing beers ever lol! It was on deck so we push ahead
