Really tasty Barleywine after a stint in my cellar. Sweet sticky caramel and brown sugar up front followed by a substantial bitterness on the finish! It has rounded out nicely, can’t wait to see what another year does to the rest.

Cheers with another cellar brew yum lovin it upnorth perfect weather in the mittin tonight not so much it sounds down state in the monsoon rain I heard but nice up here so cheers 🍻

Barleywine till Steppos fisksoppa i Grovfjord. Alkoholen märks i ölen. Även smak av kaffe, lakrits. Lite träig. En aning rökt. Även humle med ganska stor beska. En fin öl trots att den far åt olika håll. Inte optimal soppa-öl men man tager vad man haver.

I'd buy all of this candle-ized. Amazing, absolutely perfect nose; sweet, and forest-y. Early sips are complex. Sweet, molasses, and evergreen. An hour in and this is mellowing slightly and caramel and dark fruit notes are peeking in. Solid

Brown pour, foamy tan head. Aroma of fruits, nut, a bit of chocolate roastiness. Huge flavor, lots of malty goodness, caramel, cream, cocoa, roasty chocolate, with pine, grapefruit. grass. Delicious.

Tried my best to get into this one - it simply didn't hold up all that well. Raisin, prune, and light toffee from the barleywine are starting to develop; however, it feels like there is a hop imbalance against the malts. It was fine, just not great. 3.6

Sweet w/ roasted malty sniffs.. drying roasty hoppy body.. some earthy Barky bitterness..
