A deep rich stout with loads of breakfast oriented flavors … cinnamon, vanilla and roasted cocoa. A bitter bite of dark chocolate comes into play balancing with a hint of sweetness. The sip plays out into a slight crisp finish.

Vanilla icing on the nose. Milk chocolate and vanilla sweet. Not too thick, very good.

Thin with loads of cinnamon. Nutmeg, bitter coffee beans, hazelnut cocoa and straight dirt. Not great. Of there where a slightly more sweet and thick variant of this if would make of a great proto-pastry

This was one of the worst of the series I’ve had. Just fell flat in the flavor department for me. Very muted. For a BB stout, it was good; it’s just they have much more enjoyable KBS ones.

12oz bottle. Needed some caffeine…. Seemed relatively light compared to old vintages (have a vertical - will have to dig some out!). I wanted more vanilla, less cinnamon, more bourbon and a lot more body.

Coming back a year later on this. The cinnamon has mellowed. Hangs together well

I like this a lot! Reminds me of Abraxas, but less sweet. Just the right amount of cinnamon, and not “hot”. Good vanilla and bourbon oak.

Super smooth, heavy on the cinnamon & I didn't get much vanilla as I hoped for.

This is amazing. So much going on. Thick and rich with equal measures of chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla but with a hint of barrel aged flavour coming through

A cocoa - cinnamon offering from KBS in which I cannot taste any vanilla and the cocoa-cinnamon covers up any flavor from the barrel - good, but slightly disappointing

Cinnamon, coffee and vanilla. Not as good as the KBS espresso - that beer is like tiramisu in a glass.
