Starts a little sweet. Not too boozy. Hints of molasses, maple, and a slight bitter finish. Solid BBA old ale.

Digging the thickness, subtle sweetness, and barrel. Nice job Founders. Great job Lions as well. You just lost the number one pick so your mediocrity can continue!!

I get a bit of the maple in the nose, but not so much on the palate. Not bad by any stretch, but I think I had higher hopes for it. Sweet, but I was hoping for just a touch more.

Similar to Curmudgeon but more roast, not as sweet, slight barrel. Quite good.

Chocolate chip pancakes drizzled in maple syrup. Absolutely fantastic stuff. Insane barrel characteristics as well.

This is wonderful can’t miss when aged in bourbon barrels. Founders just does this well.

Mmmm the maple/BA combo is starting to be too present/overbearing. But still yummy. I did try a sip of the OH SNAP gingerbread ale they have and now THAT hit hard with flavor oh yeah

As good as you think it is, haha. BA malt bomb with chocolate and molasses, can't go wrong with a recipe like this.
