Caramel circus of rich malts, verging on buttery. Char, smoke and bourbon. Barrel tannins bloom late in the experience. This is always a treat and pairs perfectly with brother 🐝's home made brandy soaked fruit cake 🤓🤓🤓

Oaky, bourbon, toffee, malty aroma. Brown. Finish is toffee, caramel, oaky and boozy!

Movie night(s) with the family, everything from Klaus and Elf to Gladiator and Sleeping w the Enemy (Claudia’s idea!). I enjoy movies on the lighter side, but take my beers sometimes boozy & bold!

One of my favorite seasonal releases. So creamy, scotch and bourbon barrels, nice body.

LN. So good to see this return to the LCBO. Heavy scotch and warm caramels, brown sugars, and candied rasins. Sip this slowly, and let it warm up a bit.

Bottled 09/22/2022, BB 09/2023. A complex, quality of an 11% offering from Founders Barrel aged series. Pairs well with Malevolence’s Malicious Intent 🍻 Baltimoron D. for tuning me into this new music in time for The Headbanger’s Boat Cruise on 10/31🤘

Roasted hazelnut and beer nuts on the nose; also semi-sweet chocolate, and a meaty-ness. Complex on the palate; a LOT going on. Well done Backwoods! OMK bump

Really good, had some bite, but the barrel aged came through to sweeten it up

Appropriately named brew for watching the Jerry Jones team from South Oklahoma. Oh and the flavor is nice btw. Scotch ale aged in bourbon barrels. Unique combo that works quite well.

A lot of vanilla and chocolate kind of like a milk shake but at the same time not really, extremely smooth though

A perfect night capper. Chocolate, vanilla and marshmallow to smooth out this silky creamy stout. Excellent.

Mycket stark öl med en befintlig whisky- och bourbonsmak, men len i munnen. Hintar av läder, ek, rostad hasselnöt och vanilj. Komplex!

Aroma: Somewhat light bourbon. Sweet dried fruits. Taste: A lovely balance between the bourbon/boozy side with the dried fruits and caramel side. So smooth! Dangerous!

Subtle doesn’t work with this brew. Powerful milk chocolate and vanilla. Boozy and woodsy.

Quite happy to see this at the Lick’bo again. A warm, soft scotch ale, with the bourbon barrel nicely woven in. 🍺☺️

FLN - seems a bit smoother and lighter, nicely blended barrel notes with a malt forward taste
