Weinig-wild in der Nase. Recht starke Karbonisierung, furztrocken, da haben die Brett-hefen schon alles verarbeitet. Super komplex, leicht holzig. Ein ganz tolles Bier, sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man noch rankommt.

All the gravelly mineral you could ask for but this bottle is a little lacking in acid and depth relative to earlier ones. Still very good.

Straight and beautiful farmhouse funk in the nose, tart apples, lemons, and orchard fruit on the palate, with a dry finish of tannin barrel wrapped in white fruit and citrus. Delightful, tart, and it’s just what’s needed in 80 degree Boston. #belgianbeer

Brewed 2014 bottled 2016 so out of date by 5 years now. Disgusting old beer, but not. Finally found a Geuze I like. Dry, funky, oaky, sour, acidic, vinous, apple. No cognac though.

Grała Belgia to wjechało lambiczi. Pyszne. Wytrawne, z nieprzegiętą kwaśnością. Dużo nut skórzanych w aromacie, ale też dających długi posmak. Do tego skórki winogron i skojarzyło mi się z koniakiem bez sprawdzania co to za foeder, więc jest coś na rzeczy
