Super oaky and mushroomy, very low acidity for a gueuze. Bright aged hop flavor, a bit of lightstruck aroma, and for emphasis, so much oak. Wonder how long this was aged for, feels like a long time. Dry, super fine carbonation

First almost no-carb one :o. A bit oxidated but none the less very enjoyable and almost hitting 5 year bottled mark.

Voormalig cognacvat en dat proef je subtiel. De appelsmaak domineert maar de houttoetsen mis je niet, net als de alcoholische nasmaak in de keel. Zuur en beetje zoet. Heerlijk interessante geuze!

Complexe, rustique, boisé, petite astringence et bien complexe! Tout en douceur et en subtilité!

Thx to Jef V. for this bottle. Happy Birthday, Jenn! Almost clear, bronze color and a small white head. Tart nose, apples, grapes, wooden. Taste starts with decent fruityness, followes by some funky flavors. Finish is dry and astringend. Nice

Like licking the wet, wood of the lambic barrel. So much wood alongside the dry, dusty barn, cooking apple & balanced sour character. Prefer the regular gueuze or the marriage parfait but an interesting & different experience

Cudowny aromat, belgijskie drożdże, trochę cytrusów. W smaku średnio taniczne, z krótkim finiszem, ciut sciągajacym. Słodowe, belgijskie nuty, lekko kwaskowe. Pełne, przyjemnie.

Oliver T. bought me this years ago. Probs not best kept and hints of mould on the cork. Smell is amazing though: Rich, spicy, oaky, liquor barrels. Taste is clean, light, hugely peppery. Warming with that gueuze flavour. Lovely. Drinkability ridiculous.

Peachy, oaky, green apple aroma. Soft, smooth and tart, peach and apricot notes. A long lasting aftertaste. Absolutely delicious.
