This is stellar. Absolutely ridiculous balance. Apricot, lemon, rhubarb. Dry with a nice minerality. Funk is relatively subtle, but wonderfully complex. Clean and dry finish. Excited to see how these drink over the next 20 years.

Geur is een schoolvoorbeeld. Diepe houten tonen versterkt door opvallend veel perzik. Geen 1-jarige lambiek in deze, maar dat zou je door de frisse tonen niet zeggen. Heerlijk

Goud geel heldere Geuze. Klein neefje sprankeling. Beetje zoete geur van rijpe appels. Heel zachte smaak en vol mondgevoel.. smaak van het nieuwe hout is goed merkbaar en blijft ook lekker lang hangen

Traditie voor bij de koer: Oude Geuze. En nu een heel speciale: het bier van overdracht naar nieuwe generatie Boons. Heel frisfruitig. Topper in het genre. En met een bijpassend boek.

2019 bottle, complete with name tag? Loud pop, pours with nice white head that settles down to surface foam. Nose of grassy funk, sour lemon, and faint wood. Palate is nice: starts with an almost sharp lemony tartness but finishes softer and smoother,

End of an era, but so glad we got to have it. Quite champagne-like in effervescence. Lots of brightness and tart coming through.
