Contender of best ever Danish brewed BA stout? I think so. Nose has real depth along with candied, woody bourbon notes. Then come the old school base with deep roast, dark chocolate, licorice and coffee. Time softens things up. No messy cake batter here !

4.1 this time around, falling way short of a gueuze 17. Fruit not being too profound and acidity being quite over the top. Surprise surprise.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2017) sand
Probably the best regular gueuze I’ve had, I don’t know what happened here. So complex with dusty, cheesy, light eraser notes, a little fungi note, basement and all the funk one could wish for. I’m amazed how this aged. No dominating toffee at all. Super!

Funky as hell with a sophisticated fart and lots of rhubarb at this point. Lactic, more so than any other Cantillon I’ve had.

Interesting with perfumy citrus oils being most prominent in the nose. Crisp, clean, light and with lots of citrus in the taste and aftertaste. Fun!

Straight up hop fix. Super fresh and resinous at the moment. Bitterness is pronounced but not over the top.

Crisp, clean, balanced, fruity hops, and a mellow yeasty presence. Furthermore this is 5.5% which is amazing. You can take this to the bank. 4.15

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2016) sand
Lambic is dominating the fruit right now. Very very well balanced acidity and a mineral profile. Super nice.

Amazing depth of flavours. Vinous with some sweetness, citrus, slight vinegar and salinity. Natural wine funk.

Oxidative with candied pineapples, tinned peaches, solid funk and spice. Excellent!!

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2020) sand
Super impressed with the dense, dark and mineral fruit. Intense cherry, creamy mouthfeel and medium plus acidity.

This is what the doctor ordered right here! Hops are dank and crisp with light papaya and light citrus. Creamy and with light sweetness and a mildly bitter aftertaste. Delighted🤩

Lou Pepe Framboise (2014) sand
Drinking nicely. Acidity is balanced and the fruit is very pronounced in the aroma. Taste has crushed raspberry and stoney qualities. Dry mildly bitter finish. 4.2

Fantastisk frugt, især i duften. Men.... voldsomt sur.

Very nice and lots of rhubarb. All I’ve heard is how this is the best Nath yet. I’m not so sure.. This one has less of a vanilled pie crust quality and maybe a bit less lactic notes as well. Still a banger 4.3

Pours dark with clear hop notes initially. Turn more towards nutty and oxidative apple and sherry notes after a while. Has a bitter finish which also diminishes a little with time. Fun but wouldn’t necessarily age this long in the future.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Brut (2016) sand
Remarkable mouthfeel. Oily or even velvety. Also drier and woodier than a regular gueuze.
