9 year old mamouche is just hitting prime, funk on the nose with some peppery notes on the mouthfeel, dry

Aged nath is always better than fresh nath, could probably aged a few more years at least to hit peak

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2015) Wu
Better now with some decanting, soft, still a little hoppy

LCI from Christopher’s bday share - guess I’m just not a framboise fan, tasted like nail polish remover and very tart

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2019) Wu
Tasting awesome now - minimal acidity, maybe better on draft
over 3 years ago
Minerals, sweet up front then super dry with some hoppiness at the end, thought this was more like a classic geuze. Thanks for sharing Matthew C.

Wow, drinking a lot softer now, decanting makes it even better thanks Jameson !

This Aug 2020 bottle was super tart, maybe some bottle to bottle variation?

Zwanze day 2021 at Russian River - this is still one of the best cantillons Ive had - tons of jammy fruits but well blended
over 3 years ago
Delicious - more vinous than magic lambic, almost wine like finish, floral. Tasting notes changed 3 times as it warmed. Right in pic vs magic lambic

Very interesting beet lambic - reminded me of a slightly peated scotch finish from the heavy vegetation, good to sip on but probably not my favorite

Crisp and super refreshing, loving these non alcoholic beers, great palate cleansers

Tons of oak, orange color, minimal funk. Still needs many years of aging

Last vig from our Cantillon trip in 2019 to celebrate my birthday share. Many thought this was an unfruited geuze like A&G, I loved it still, got better over time, still pretty sharp notes of grape skin up front

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2018) Wu
Wow, funky blueberries with a short finish, what a treat

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2019) Wu
Starting to like this beer more and more, carbonation has subdued from last 2019 bottle, strong funk, lemons, with tiny bit of hops at the finish. 2/15/19 release

6/26/2020 wow what a batch! Best one I’ve tasted yet, not jammy like others, finishes dry.

Aug 27, 2019 batch - celebrating the day we were supposed to get married with one of our favorite beers 🍻. This one had more minerals, slightly more tart, still awesome though

This batch is great, always a treat with the funk and apricots. Thanks sebastien d. !

Aged very well, 17% abv is hidden well, sweet like a barleywine but doesn’t have any burn. This would be awesome to sip on during winters with some Christmas cookies

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2012) Wu
Bourbon barrels on the nose, mouthfeel a bit thin, finish is pure black coffee
almost 5 years ago
Wasn’t the biggest fan of this - very boozy, malty, has a bitter finish. Tastes like a very old bottle - curious how a 10+ year old bottle might be. This was like a hybrid of a barleywine and a strong Belgian quad

Oude Geuze White Vermouth Foeders Wu
Clean young geuze - 2nd time having this, gets really good as it warms, pairs well with cheddar goat cheese

Couldn’t celebrate our marriage without one of our favorite beers 🍻

Left is 2018 vs 2011 on the right - completely different beers. This one needs to age for many more years

Side by side with Gueuze 2018 and LPG 2006. This was very close to LPG - perfect geuze, dark colors, so much different than 2018 geuze. One of the best gueuzes I’ve ever had thanks Hugo D.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2019) Wu
Heavily carbonated - 2019 is definitely a good year, dry
almost 5 years ago
Brought this back from Belgium from last year - blind taste notes from people: cherry some framboise, slightly bitter notes 4.40 grape skins as it warms up

Aug 2018 batch - heavily carbonated but delicious as always thanks Keith, the '. for bringing Vivian L. ’s favorite beer

Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru (2016) Wu
Nearly completely still - tastes like a 20 year old gueze, musky and mushrooms
