Surprisingly good to drink on a summer BBQ afternoon despite its 10+% due to it not being all that heavy bodied+both its dark coffee n boozy bourbon oak notes being moderately instead of overtly present.

Smooth for the high abv but I’m disappointed with the thin mouthfeel and low viscosity. I’m not getting too much of the maple or coffee either, there’s relatively low sweetness. This needs more time to warm up before the flavor can be appreciated.

Heavy, roasty umami notes from the maple a little licorice, the pure maple sirup is lingering in the background, quite heavy, I miss the 'Goliath' feel!

Чёрный со стойкой коричневой мелкозернистой пеной. Аромат хороший, вообще не алкашит, немного кофе и кленового сиропа. Достаточно плотный, хотя и эйджился 4 года. Сливочный и кофейный, вообще не сладкий, но алкашит.

Espresso and maple in the nose. Like a canadian had breakfast in Naples. Dark black body and a lacy tan head. Dark chocolate and espresso coffee. Sweet opening that is tempered by bitterness Subtle maple notes. Mouthfeel that is serious but approachable.
