Dry, green apple funk, nutty, touch oxidized, quite yummy

Vinegar, pears, mineral, lemon, oak. Peppery carb for a beer born Feb 2013

Surprisingly flat, with a funkier nose than I’ve had yet today: florals, grass, citrus. Palate follows, but the relatively lifeless body detracts overall.

Very woody dry and clean - having recently had the 2020 it’s clear to see how these vintages alter and change form

On the sweeter side, soft carb, lots of classic Cantillon funk

12/21/13. Fine, but not amazing. Heavy funk, oak, tea, lemon, cat piss, chlorine.

Oldest gueuze in my cellar. Still comes across as remarkably fresh. Overall impression is lightly soured orange juice/rind with a hint of vinegar (in the best way of course). Surprised that there is a touch of bitterness/pith that braces it nicely.

February 25, 2013. Faintly vegetal at first: green pepper/mint. Apple/lemon. Sharp, medium acidity. Moderate funk.

Whiff of toothpaste mint, resolving into moderate funk, light acidity.

6/7/13 bottle: Heavy chlorine, Spanish cedar, stone fruit, leather, and slightly oxidized funk. Maybe storage or possible global warming issues. Better as it warmed, but not the best vintage

Assertive grapefruit and light lemon. Nice, creamy, rich body. Light bitterness, moderate acidity, not funky yet. Finish is a lingering barley and mustiness. Really nice, but would have guessed 4-5 years old blind, not 7-8. 4.6-4.7.
