First time I understand what horseblanket means in a taste description. Dusty on the nose. Light sourness and funky notes on the palate and some lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Fascinating!

Big oak on this one. The spice factor almost gives me a rye connotation. The hopping (after all the cellaring) gives it a rye IPA-like character.

Possibly the funkiest Cantillon bottle I’ve had in years.

Weirdest bottle of iris, 2016-12-26, burnt over, intense 4-ep, apricot, cloudberry, extremely intense cloudberry, more so than some I’m du Minuit thick and hazy, low carb, overfilled bottle with wet cork.

26 December 2016 bottling aka the magical batch. Dusty newspapers, full and robust, crazy low acidity. Peach tea. Just as good as the last time I had it

Sweet and funky tart, and hint of oak barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a fruity yeasty and oak-barrel finish. Good stuff!

Bottled March 9, 2016. Woah...spectacular!! Soft carbonation and silky smooth. The taste is funky, earthy with a dry zesty finish. Delightful.

Dryer? Floral maybe hoppy? Very different from the first two but still delicious.

Been waiting to crack this. Not disappointed in the least. Best smelling beer I can recall. Just needs a proper basket...

So fragrant and floral! Popping this after 4 years from Brussels. Cheers to 30

Aged greatly. Soft hops still strikes, but just into the bitterness. Crushable leather and blanket. Rough with no off-flavors. Grapefruity, bitter straightforward. Less lemony and lacks the wheat. Tart and dry, good one.

Very nice. Quite sour, smooth as motha and very tasty.

Tart sour up front but dry. Smooths out after a second. Lightly floral. Really a delight. Not too complex, but delicious!
