A very soft, mellow, tart, slightly sour fruit basket with lots of ripe yellow stone fruit such as peach, nectarine, tangerine and apricot. Also getting some pear. Nice.

Moderat syrlig. Godt med sødme som i aprikos, lichi og mango. Noe gjærsødme også. Balansert no-fuzz-geuze på den søtere siden.

Surprisingly sharp funky nose, tart apricot, and the palate follows: tart stone fruit and lemon with hints of florals, sour lemon with a bracing dry short finish that lengthens with warmth. This improved hugely after standing a few minutes.

Lovely funk, dry, soft, light tart, typical Cantillon geuze. Always good!

17 Feb 21 bottling. Much better than the last (2020) batches of Cantillon Gueuze I’ve had. Classic woody, funky, green apple and citrus flavours with fine carbonation.

Better than previous years. Aroma is wheat, grainy, young lambic. Taste is quite mild and smooth, not too acidic. Medium carbonation for Cantillon standards. Aftertaste is quite clean.

Belgische klassieker van tap bij een barretje in een kleine stad in Polen. Wist niet dat ze de lambieken ook op vat uit brachten.

Geuzetasting finale: #2 Close call met #1. Cantillon is zeer consistent. Zacht, licht zuurtje, mooi afgerond
