Mmm, mmm, mmm. Medium intensity brett notes. Lots of lemon zest, some isovaleric. Lots of cheesy hop derived funk too. Great cherry on top of the night. Not pungent, just well expressed. We miss you, 2016.

Abv 5.5% Poah! Wat een prachtige rijping. Mistig blond, geur: licht bloemig, gras, iets zurig. Smaak: Zacht, beetje zurig, niet agressief. Funky, tart, droog, plakt een beetje. Na 4 jaar echt mooi!

has mellowed beautifully... cantillon gueuze really does need time to shine. paired w 36 month comte and 52 month cheddar - both god tier 🤯

16 September 2016. Best bottle of classic gueuze I’ve had in a few years. All the right dusty grapefruit notes with ultra low acidity and impeccable balance. This is a magic batch. Seek it out. Thanks Mike R.

2/1/16 bottle for Pat’s birthday session last night. Wet oak, pepper, burnt lemon, horseblanket, leather, firecrackers, Arnold Palmer, and funky yeast. Restrained acidity with a silky mouthfeel.

Bottled 15 December 2016. Loud, jolly POP!. Nice amber colour, some lovely carbonation. Damn funky smell, heavy cheesyness, plenty of oak, hint of hay. Good carbonation in mouth, very mellow feel. Taste is funky, lightly sour, dry, french cheese rind. Yum
