Rosé De Gambrinus (2022)

Lambic - Framboise

The Rosé de Gambrinus Cantillon is obtained by macerating fresh raspberries in two years old Lambic. Its complex aromas and sour taste make this unique beer an excellent thirst-quencher. Keep at a temperature of 12-15• and serve at 6-7•. Beer with taste evolution. In order to fully appreciate the fruity taste of the Rosé de Gambrinus, it is best to drink it within one year after the purchase. To be drunk preferably within 10 years after the bottling date.

Yeah, this is a tasty “basic” C! Fresh like this it’s full of light tart sweeter raspberry flavors and less funky yeast.

Super interesting to have this reasonably fresh. Lambic Framboise like this could change my mind about raspberries in beer. Lovely, vibrant, jammy. Low complexity at this stage but still enjoyable.

With my weird raspberry allergy, this isn't the best idea. But hey, it's Cantillon. Low aroma, not extremely puckering. Starts corny and dry, then the raspberry and some chocolate.

Sweet pale malt backbone, soueish grainy wheat, funky (brett - minimal) yeast, fruity (raspberry (3)), dilluted raspberry soda, subtle vinous (red wine) and vinegar mix, light tartness, light sourness (lactic acid)

LCI It’s a bit more tarty than the one on draft. Still very good, but with less drinkability.
