4.35. So interesting and also different from the usual aunis. Spicy, so much peppery, really like no other, a bit of cinnamon, then the wine shows a bit shy. Good, not the best vintage.

The beer is much bolder and aggressive than the wine version. Both are fantastic. I want the wine now (pictured)

Finally a red! Lovely red wine nose of dark grape, black pepper, hints of red bell pepper. Medium-dry finish. Lovely.

Beer #5 during today’s “Into the Wine” tasting conducted by Moeder Lambic & Cantillon in Salle Ogivale at Hotel de Ville on Grand Place in Brussels. What an amazing experience!

Straight juice pairing. This beer has never had much complexity for me. Definitely great grape flavors though. Probably the last batch according to JH.

First beer wine that resembles each other in the nose. Wine: light pepper note, very dry taninic, hint of raspberry. Beer: wine forward with fruity and peppery notes. Funk. Light citrus.

New vintage. Great cherry and strawberry vibes, very round. Quite better than last couple vintages. Refined.
