March bottle. Not a massive cantillon gueuze fan but this is probably the best I’ve ever had from them. Some lovely vanilla/oak notes that really elevated it.

Sweet and tart, blue cheese, and fruity yeasty nose on this one! Taste follows with a funky, cheesy, yeasty tart finish. Outstanding!

Flawless! Different acidity with a roundness to it. Astonishing. Just perfect and out of this world. Cantillon really needs time to fully express

Comparison with Beatification. This seems a bit more citrusy and wood-y, but also is excellent.

5 years on, there’s not a massive difference. The hefty body of the 2020 has lightened, the carbonation is tighter, its marginally less sweet. The grapefruit has shifted towards lemon, with zest moving to pith.

This has mellowed out very nicely. Who needs champagne when you have a bottle of this?
