3 years since I’ve had one of these from the stash. This 4+ year-old beer is even more amazing now, by far! The first sip was rum raisin, but it faded to leave fudge batter, dark cherry, and dark chocolate. Smooth, sweet, deep, and dark. Awesome!

#50: A heavy imperial with the expected plum. I wish I liked that flavor. Lighter on the finish, though.

Amazing how well the maple syrup flavor is still there 4+ years later. Still awesome, but wouldn’t want to stretch this one more than a year from now. The bourbon bite is gone but all of the brown sugar and sweetness is still there.

Has lost some sweetness but is drinking very well. Leaving rating the same to reflect where it was and where it is now as a different beer but of high quality.

Aged for 5 years. Still fantastic. More coffee. No real maple. But great flavor.

Cellared - bottled 10/4/19. Pours darkest opaque brown with caramel head. Bourbon, maple, fudge, and coffee on nose. Sweetness on palate smooths out any booziness with delicious coffee and vanilla on the backend. Really a superb beer. Aged spectacularly

Well, nothing like a well done reissue. With the new batch in the armory, why not confirm the greatness of the "last batch ever". Splendid, though with a loss of the maple. Never get tired of this, just like Marquee Moon.

Nu har jag inte testat originalet, men antar mycket av sötman försvunnit med tiden, basen är väldigt bra dock och den milda lönnsirapen förhöjer den!

Day 2 of the CBS test. The flavors have lightened as best I can remember but taste truer to the design.

Aged quite well. A little more syrupy and increased sweetness but more mellow on the alchol.
