I never got it back in 2019 but now I can go back in time thanks to Oak Trail. And it's National Beer Day!

Better than the 2018 and 2017 at this point but still better fresh

Smooth. More chocolate than roast. Lovely at 4 years old.

Surprisingly this seems to already reached its peak. The chocolate & coffee flavors def softened with time resulting in the oaky bourbon being more dominant, giving a much boozier brew. I wouldn’t say drink fresh, but preferably within 2-3 years. -0,5.

Half bottle, half nitro can. Drinkable as all hell; like a nitro pour. Don’t hate the player, hate the game 😂

Heerlijk begin van het weekend. Zwarte stout de bol staat van de Bourbon. Niet al te zoet, niet al te dik, maar de Bourbon maakt veel goed. Brand lekker na in de keel.

19-3-4, 4yr,1mo o. Drinking nice right now. Rich, earthy coffee and bitter cocoa. Notes of bitter oak and vanilla. Complex. Aging well.

It may be that 5 years is a good mark - the 2018 was a little more enjoyable.

Smooth. Not as smooth and flavorful as the Wren House babies, but still good.

Aged very well. Really nice sipper. All flavors still there. Coffee bourbon chocolate with a bit of boozy bite.

Slightly rough around the edges, but altogether a lovely coffee, chocolate and bourbon concoction. 4.1

An apex predator of the stout world. Fear him. #theroadto200

From LM, and for LM. A successful conclusion to a really hard - yet ultimately good - trip. In many ways, the capstone on a really large transition. Not a bad way to celebrate. Malt-mocha nose, smooth matching flavor w/ coffee, & carb/booze bites.
