Classic from the dusty boxes in the back… the OG big stout… still boozy with chocolate hints… Happy Turkey Day to all

Special find circa yr. 2016 At 18%abv. Bitter chocolate, coffee, dates, subtle black licorice and malty malty love.

Vanilla creamy chocolate nose. Tons of cocoa on nose and but boozy. Thick and creamy.

Creamy oat, chocolate and vanilla nose. Boozy. Aged a long while. Tastes more boozy than the nose. Rich! Complex. Killer for a non barrel-aged. Lots of chocolate milk, leaning more cocoa.

What better way to forget Pitt’s effort today than with a 18% beer from 2016. This aged beautifully unlike Cignetti’s offense.

Dark cherry, pomegranate, caramel, fig, & deep cabernet take the fore, w/ heavy roast & a sprinkle of brown sugar mid-palate, leather & cocoa powder late, & unmistakable soy @aftertaste. Nary a whiff of booze, let alone 18%. Chewy, coating mouthfeel. N/R.

Floaties and oxidation, at least the hot alcohol has died down

Saving it all for … me. Decidedly mellower than in 2017. Very smooth and tasty

Good, in my wheelhouse, but a bit syrupy.

Still so Damn Good, noticing more of a black licorice as it warms.

Nothing like a 18% for Beer #1000! Found this gem while visiting Drew! Smooth, closure to a desert wine than beer.

Starting to fall off but still a solid stout. Copped from the bargain bin. Well worth the 6 bucks. Boozy caramel flavor dominates but oxidation and flat body are setting in

Untappd if you know anything about me you should know how important carbonation is to me, especially in and old ass beer. well this guy has consumed carbon about 7 years ago and held its breath for me to consume

Wonder if I had one of these more recently than 2019. Thinking 2021 or so was the time to have this one. Still very good. Just not peak.

11/01/2016. Nearly 7 years collecting dust and still holding on.

11/2016 a little bit old, definitely past it's prime, had to try before a pour out.

Once you get into the 5+ year range these finally settle down, and what a treat. Just a archetype classic huge non-adjunct Imperial stout. Rich, bold, boozy dark malts.
