Very tasty. Warm roasty malt. Warm booze.

Dark fruit with a roasty, dark cherry finish. I LOVE the fact that this isn’t barrel aged, and yet it encapsulates everything a fantastic BA beer should. ABV at 15.5 is moderate, as is the heat. A shining example of stout mastery. 4.4

Big boy beer. It definitely has a bit of red wine to it.

Sharing this with the crew, 4 of us. Meant to be a celebration beer but in case the Bs blow it, it's being enjoyed now 🏒🐻

Like really high % cacao, bitter and some notes of plum and sherry, kinda red wine like, and noticeable alcohol burn. I think time will really shape this beautifully as usual.

To me it’s always stout season. Even on a humid evening. This one is always dark and roasted goodness.

Excellent beer. Dark fruit with hints of toffee. Warm and boozy with a dry, bitter finish.

Great beer hid the ABV remarkably well good malty character on top of a perfect layer of caramel malt good thickness and mouthfeel stone fruit on nose with chocolate. Overall no complaints.

Rich, dark, sweet and fruity tones. Not feeling a lot of heat on this big stout. Very drinkable.

Victory beer. Although I’d be even happier with a washington loss.

Damn that’s nice. The 15.5% is felt but not overly boozy. Great body. Dangerous

Pours incinerated straw. Intense plum nose. Taste is intense dark fruit/black pepper/tobacco and alcohol

DFH still can make a solid stout even non BA. This was a great example with the prominent bakers chocolate and slight roast you get. At times I got some coffee essence. For 15.5% this drank exceptionally smooth.
