Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°2

Lambic - Gueuze

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is the driest gueuze we've ever made. Combining a full-bodied taste with nearly 100% fermentation degree was a big challenge. This gueuze has a clear golden body with lively carbonation, balanced sourness and flavors of green apple and grapefruit. This is finished off with a long bone-dry aftertaste. The Lambics used for this blend have aged for 1, 2, and 3 years on oak casks. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.

Encore bien bonne et bien carb après tout ce temps. C'est très sec avec tout ça. Bon candidat abordable pour des expériences de vieillissement.

Balanced Gueuze. Woody and apple touch on the nose. Grapefruity hint in the mouth. Nicely carbonated. Dry finish and slightly tart on the aftertaste

And another serial tasting. Starting here. Dry and tart. Apple tones, with some grapefruity traces. @16de Dag(en) van de Oude Geuze.

Fantastisch ook. Droog, tarty, zuur. Ik snap de champagne comments zeker wel. Beetje een extra brut met zure vibes. Thanks Ben!!

2016. Huge pop and slight explosion out of bottle 💥. Still bright and crisp with lots of ripe apple and fresh hay. Super dry (champagne’y). Still lots of aging potential!
