Second bottle because Randy forgot we had this on Saturday and ordered it again. Still good.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) James
This is lovely. Bright lemony citrus with a gentle warming sweetness from the cognac. Really great stuff. 4.9275.

2008 sticker. So nice. Soft and lemony, maybe a bit orange. Very low acid, given its age. Held up quite remarkably.

Kriek 100% Lambic (2010) James
Jebus. The cherries have a cool new tartness compared to the 2020 which is a tiny bit sweeter.

This beer sucks when it’s fresh, but is so nice when it’s old.

This is fucking delightful. Lemony and fresh. Looking forward to trying it again in like 5 years.

Still really roasty. Some oxidation to be sure, but it’s hanging in there pretty well.

Exceptional. Crazy orange marmalade funk. Cantillon tends to lean toward lemon so the orange is really cool and unique. Love it.

The touch of vanilla adds just enough sweetness to turn the raspberry and blueberry into pie filling. It’s amazing.

It seems like the fruit has actually concentrated instead of fading. Stunning beer.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2019) James
All the flavors of the gueuze are there, but without carb they sit on your palate and take on more intense profiles. Always a fun experience.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2018) James
We caught this bottle at a weird time. Started with a distinct astringency but got better with air.

Creamy, nice espresso, well balanced. Definitely better now than fresh. The balance has come around a lot. Nice beer.
