Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2019) Hellensberg
Dusty wet cellar funk, citrus, pleasant acidity and a light oak finish. 4.10

Lou Pepe Kriek (2018) Hellensberg
Soft tannins with notes of tart cherries, almonds and a slightly oaky and citrusy finish. I didnt expect the cherry flavours to be as fresh and forward as they were considering the age of the bottle. Truely a great kriek.

Lci. Everything has come nicely together and the rhubarb is really vibrant atm. 4.10

Wish I have had this earlier in the evening. Musty and complex with notes of citrus, bread, and port wine. Will have to open another bottle someday and take my time. 4.60

Smells fantastic. Citrus, tropical fruits and lots of green grassy notes. Hints of nectarine and slight fennel? I have a feud with IPAs under 8% as they always lacks body and “umphf” for me.

Lambic Vin Jaune / La Vie Est Belge (2022) Hellensberg
Very mild carbonation with lots of citrus and hints of cheeserind and toasted nuts. Really well balanced and only slightly tart.

Gueuze Loerik (2019) Hellensberg
Light and dry with notes of citrus, orange and acacia honey. Funky and musty with a herbal touch. I’m getting slight negroni vibes somehow? I really don’t mind the total lack of carbonation here. This is just lovely in its own way. 4.30

White Wedding (2023) Hellensberg
Notes of chocolate, oak, coffee, even mocha and dried fruits. Port is subtle but noticable and the lactose is not too devastating. I would love some more “kapow” in the mouthfell and overall, but I think they did pretty decent with this one. 4.10

Lovely apricot and stone fruit. Nose is so jammy and mouthwatering, but I have to admit that this is just too sour.

Dried figs, dates, sweet liquorice, burnt sugar, oak and hints of wet campfire. The armagnac barrels are quite distinct.

Notes of coffee, vanilla, sweet tobacco, raisins, roasted malt with hints of liquorice root. Quite dry, slightly bitter and sour and somewhat boozy. Was hoping for more. Balance is not quite there.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2017) Hellensberg
Dry, soft and effervescent. Oak with lots of bright cherry flavour still lingering and funk developing. Surprisingly not very acidic compared to its age. This was perfect for christmas dessert!

Much better than anticipated. Oats adds a nice creamy mouthfeel and the coffee is well implemented and not too sour. Cinnamon is barely noticable, but I am getting chocolate notes and a some sweet and roasted malt. Not amazing, but very drinkable.

I really seem to prefer fou fresh. Mellow fruit and funk but the acidity is just too high for my liking.

Notes of lime, citrus, gooseberry and overipe tropical fruits. No date on the can and it wasnt stored cool at the store so who knows. Honorable either way and not too shabby for the price imo. 3.80

Crisp, clean and lovely bitter west coast IPA with lots of herbal piney almost terragon notes. Very sessionable.

Clean, crisp, wst coast hoppy, malty, caramel and super floral. Getting big honey and heather vibes. Nothing to hate here.

Mango, pineapple, grapefruit, citrus and somehow coconut water? Grassy, slightly woody and a bit sharp. Its a bit all over and more watery than I like but I think this is pretty great for 60kr!

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2022) Hellensberg
Lovely acidity with notes of blueberries and vanilla. With age it has become increasingly musty and have developed more of a vineous note. Unfortunately a bit short in taste still.

Lovely acidity with notes of jammy blueberries and vanilla. A bit short in taste. 4.20

Lovely bright grape flavours with less tannins than I was expecting. 4.60

Malty, light, metallic and pretty bitter. Being bottled almost 5 months ago there is next to no traces left of any hops used besides a slightly floral note that I might as well be imagining 😅

Coldbrewed coconut coffee exactly. Slight liquorice and bitter dark chocolate. Its too thin for my liking 🫣

Was expecting this to be mouth puckering, but I didnt think it was bad. Nicely tart, with heaps of honeysuckle, honey and grapes. Good balance of sweet, sour and tanins. Will be interesting to let this develop some funk and let the tannins mellow down.

Black Wedding (2023) Hellensberg
Strong maple syrup flavours reinforced by lactose. Oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and burnt coffee. Boozy without too much barrel character.

Sophia Lambic (2020) Hellensberg
Crips, clean and aromatic with notes of lemon, heather and lychee. Dry, delicate and mineral finish.

Saint Lamvinus (2021) Hellensberg
Crisp and dry with notes of black and red currant, oak, apples and tannins. Obviously vineous with a good balance between sweetness and acidity.

One of the better coffee stouts I have had. Coffee tends to become too bitter and sour in stouts for my liking, but the maple suryp softens it out quite nicely here. I would like to think adding a bit more would have made it even better.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2020) Hellensberg
Raspberries, summer and blackcurrant branch. Very refreshing and sour but also a bit more vinous than younger bottles.

Red Wedding (2022) Hellensberg
Thick, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. There is also definitely some oak and vinous red wine elements, but they are not as prominent as with White Wedding. Nevertheless a great stout.

Gorm the Old - Rum Cask Edition Hellensberg
Chocolate, vanilla and heavy rum influence. Thick and definitely boozy. I had hoped that the rum casks would have added more complexety, but It’s still a very well made stout!

Chocolate, vanilla and coffee notes. Thick, medium sweet and boozy. Not too complex, but really good nevertheless!

Light body, roasted malt, very bitter coffee and wet campfire notes. I havnt really got anything to compare it to.

White Wedding (2022) Hellensberg
Pours thick with notes of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. The white port BA adds some depth and acidity which I quite like. Best danish beer I have had in quite a while!

Rosé De Gambrinus (2022) Hellensberg
Light and refreshing. Sour summer raspberries dominates the palete with a hint of funk that havn’t fully developed yet. Fruit is really in focus this early on. I quite enjoyed it.

Oude Geuze Boon (2018-2019) Hellensberg
Tart and dry with a light funk. Refreshing, but missing some of the more complex notes.

Bright cherry notes with earthy, woody and mineral notes. Well balanced and easy to drink.

Lots of apricot both on the nose and taste. A bit on the sour side. The fruit is well presented but I think this will benefit from staying in the cellar for a couple of years.
