Needs time to funk up, but otherwise stellar. 4.3/4.4 but could easily turn into a 4.6 over the next 4-6 years.

Этюд третий. Пасторальный и созерцательный. С каждым глотком все более насыщенная вишня, терпкая, в миндальную косточку, с ароматом старого деревянного дома, увядающей листвы. Смерть и вечная жизнь в памяти напитка. Сопровождение: фисташковый рулет.

C'est incroyablement délicieux. Cherry profonde, petit fruits noires mûres, notes de vanille, des épices, cannelle, profondeur, équilibre, complexité, harmonie. Gros kif. A la base une bouteille a partagé,mais bu en solo....he ouai!!!

I’ve never had a kriek aged this many years but wow was this still a 🍒💣 smooth, not too acidic but that aged funk is definitely present. Thanks Josue!

Did a blind 2017 LPK and 2018 Sharbeekse side by side. The Sharbeekse was brighter, more acidic, tasted like it had younger cherries, where as LPK had a deeper richer dark Cherry flavor with some mushroom funk. Both had minimal tartness, group was split

Lpk = top kriek as always, très fruitée, énorme noyau avec beaucoup de cannelle et d'amande, bien funky, relevée par juste ce qu'il faut d'acidité

#Happy50thCharlie For me not being much of a kriek guy, this is spectacular. The cherry has a light yet jammy quality that gives this a lovely sweet finish that pairs nicely with the signature loon funk. Slight edge to this over the Eylenbosch kriek.
