So refined, well balanced and drinkable. Mamouche is one of their best seasonals.

Aroma is dominated by fresh elderflower, lemon, apple and some grass. Initial flavour adds some rough, dirty Cantillon funk. It’s wonderfully balanced, bright and drinkable. Light mouthfeel and medium carb. Finish is funky and mildly acidic. Beautiful.

Nez funky en s'ouvrant. Robe cidre, fine carbo. En bouche subtil acidité, c'est très frais, le sureau arrive sur la fin, petit côté cidre. C'est très bon.

Massive elderflower and hedgerow berry aroma. Elderflower, apple and white grapes, followed by tart lemon. Finishes with loads more elderflower and sparkling grape sod. Very sour from start to finish, with big carbonation enhancing everything.

May 28, 2020 bottling; floral and great upfront flavor. Elder flowers add a nice touch to the lambic, but can become too dominant as it warms and opens up. Regardless solid beer. Virtual share

Œil : jaune, col fin. Nez : grosses notes de fleurs de sureaux, léger pommes. Bouche : sureaux ultra présent, brett, boisé, acidité bien maîtrisé, sèche. Magnifique longueur sureaux !

Pour un fan inconditionnel de la fleur de sureau, c'est de l'ambroisie. Très belle expressivité, presque sur les pollens, mielleuse, riche, joli corps quasiment licoreux de prime abord... Fantastique, tout simplement !
