First time trying this line from Cantillon. Started out super earthy with big floral scents (almost perfumy) and a vinuous nose. Very big pepper and spruce tip flavors tended to dominate the palate with slight green grape hints. Unique and tasty. 4.25

Most balanced from the bunch, vegetal characteristics isn't as strong as the Bofkont & the funk isn't as strong as the Publitasting. Can't beat the OG!

EB Frilltessence 2023. Paired with SOS and elderflower schnapps. Floral and vegetal with a good balance between pickled jalapeño elderflower and cheesy lambic funk.

Borderline cocktail-y. Elderflower hides around the margins, with an herbaceous quality that’s reminiscent of an amaro. Strong funk underlies everything.

Mon coup de coeur de la soirée. Le nez était carrément horrible avec une odeur désagréable de cornichon. Pourtant en bouche c’était superbe. Lambic très floral, végétal et agrumé. Acidité bien balancée. Wow!

Na vijf jaar nog enorm veel vlierbloesem in de neus. Zachte, soepele geuze, kruidig, beetje gepeperd, en flink wat vlierbloesem in het glas. Heel mooi. Foodpairing: een uitstekende saucisson sec.

Still lots of elderberry vibe left, nice acidity, well balanced and some barrel notes. Amazing beer! At last level 100 on New Brew Thursday, lots of hard work and time invested but a whole lot of fun! 😁🍻

A little too much pepper for me (jalapeño pepper, not black pepper). Good, but I honestly just prefer the classic gueuze.

LCI from yesterday. Absolutely fabolous blend. Elderflower is so well integrated into lambic. Delicious brew.
